Blood stains, the secrets of removing them...

There is no need to throw your carpet away with the birth water.

Should there be any blood stains, try to remove them as soon as possible, as it is easier to remove fresh blood stains. Once the blood stain has dried up it is becomes much harder to remove.

Saturate the blood stain with COLD water (hot water is likely to set the stain). Leave it to settle for a couple of minutes. Dap the stain with a dry clean cloth (don’t wipe the stain as this will probably spread the stain, rather than remove it). Use a different part of the cloth every time you dap the stain, until the blood stain has been removed.
